Scuba Dive in Southern Leyte with Treasure Bay Dive Resort Centre

Upon arrival at the dive center, a miscellaneous dive crate is allocated to each diver for personal dive gear. If you have no diving gear our friendly staff will help you find your size before the dive. All dive gear is marked with your name, helping the boat crew to identify everyone’s gear so that they can set up your kit at the start of each day. Our dive equipment for rent on site Includes Aqua Lung BCD, Regulator, Wetsuits, Fins, Botties, Compass, Dive Computer and more. All dives are limited to 30 meters depth and 60 minutes underwater time for safety, but there is no need to worry about missing anything, as the best parts of the wonderful coral reef are in shallows anyway. Our dive guide to divers ratio is 1:6 but for newly divers it should be less than 6 divers.

For divers who like underwater photography, Treasure Bay's dive guides will also be able to tell you the best dive spot to find the most stunning marine organisms, and they will even do their best to find you the macro critters on your own wish list. Small creatures like pygmy seahorses, pipefishes, nudibranchs, frogfishes and many more can be found in Sogod Bay.

We will also happy to tell to our valued costumer that our boat MBca Blue Dolphin MCMXIV never anchor on the reef to minimise the anthropogenic impact to coral reef. We stay at the same spot if a mooring line is available. If not, the boats just wait outside the reef and pick up the guests at the end of the dive. Our 68 feet boats are powered by Mitsubishi 6D22 Turbo engine. After a long day out in the sea, we provided snacks on the boat to satisfy your growling stomach or refreshment for parched throat. You will not have to worry about your diving equipment, our experienced dive guides will take good care of it until your next day's adventure!

TBDR boat are among the biggest, fastest and safest in Sogod Bay area. It is well-equipped with lifejackets, life ring, life raft, oxygen cylinder, oxygen and first aid kit and a cellphone for communication. All our guides carry surface marker bouy (SMB) to mark our divers underwater and can bring only a maximum of 6 divers.

We used MCH18 Coltri Sub Compressor to fill our tanks with normal air. All filters are constantly monitored through compressor logbook and replaced whenever necessary and the tanks are periodically inspected every year and hydrostatically tested every five years.

TBDR is not only a place for divers but also for people who do not dive, there are other amenities available for pure relaxation and enjoyment.

Keeping in mind a passion for environment, we in TBDR adopt the Eco bricks program. We placed the Eco bricks in various parts of the spacious rooms for them to see. We also encourage our guests to help protect the earth with simple task, like conserving electricity when leaving the room, or keeping the same bath towels for a couple of days before requesting a change.

We also aim to contribute data to Coral Watch. Coral Watch is a hands-on-reef-monitoring program developed by Australia's University of Queensland. TBDR requires our Dive Master Trainee and encourage our customer to collect data.
